MTA Maryland Purple Line PPP

Proceeds will be used for the development of the Maryland Purple Line-Rail Transit in the United States of America, which is a 16-mile (25.7km) light rail line that runs east-west inside the Capital Beltway between Bethesda in Montgomery County and New Carrollton in Prince George’s County. The project will be procured on a PPP basis with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) acting as a concession awarding authority. The total capital cost of the project is estimated at about $2.4 billion.
