National Australia Bank (NAB) has strengthened its European infrastructure finance team with the appointment of Marianne Viola.
Viola (pictured right) is a project finance veteran specialising in transport infrastructure, renewables, utilities and digital infrastructure. She joins NAB as a director and will operate out of the bank’s Paris offices.
In her new role she will focus on structuring, arranging and executing specialised finance deals, working closely with teams in London, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, New York and Singapore.
Viola was previous the director of structures finance at Vinci Concessions based in London.
Her appointment follows NAB Europe’s receipt of regulatory approval from the French markets’ regulator (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) and the French prudential supervision and resolution authority (Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution) to operate as a credit institution in France.
