IJGlobal Awards 2021 – the Latin America shortlist

One of the last IJGlobal Awards 2021 judging sessions took place yesterday (8 February) – via Teams – so it is with great delight that we announce the shortlist for Latin America with winners to be announced on 17 March at Gotham Hall in New York.

Once the portal went live in December 2021, submissions poured in with over 1300 recorded. However, while deal awards are decided in-house – the company awards are selected by an independent panel of experienced infrastructure professionals.

Judges discussed and debated the merits of each of these company submissions with any conflict of interest eliminated by asking experts to recuse themselves from categories that they operate it (financial adviser recused from this category, financial institutions recused from the bank and bond arranger categories and so forth). IJGlobal would like to thank all judges once again for participating in what proved to be a fun session.

While voting was in secret, the discussions that took place ensured that judges already had a pretty good idea of who the winners were…but Chatham house rules so companies will have to wait until 17 March to find out whether they have won!
