Croatia and Enron revise a US$1.6 billion power contract

Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic said the two sides agreed to break off the agreement according to which Enron was supposed to build a gas-powered thermal plant in Jertovac, northern Croatia, and sell power to the Croatian electricity board (HEP) under a fixed price for 20 years
