BTG Pactual Private Capital Team was awarded Fund Performance of the Year in the Americas, judges were particularly impressed with its BTG Pactual Infrastructure Dividends Fund BDIV.

Judges also recognized BTG Pactual as the most consistent top performing fund manager in Latin America.

Over the last year, the BTG Pactual Private Capital Team has been focused on delivering strong operational performance to its energy assets

BDIV is a listed dividend fund specialized in the energy sector. It focuses on investments in operational assets, including a transmission line (Tropicália), a gas-fired generation asset (Linhares) and a hydroelectric facility (PCH Braço). 

The submission said: “With assets being managed by the team for over a decade, resulting in an increased proficiency and investment stability, the Fund aims to generate returns through dividend payments from its investments.

“Through its defensive and long-term investment philosophy, the fund is the leading Brazilian listed infrastructure fund in terms of dividend payouts every year since its inception the fund distributed, in 2023, a total of R$ 26.90 per share trading at a unit price of R$ 120.30, resulting in an annual yield of 25.8%.

“When comparing the fund’s performance with other players in the market, BDIV generated a yield 76% greater the second ranked competitor in 2023. Additionally, since the start of the Fund, it generated a capital gain of 68.4%, significantly surpassing the 16.2% gain realized by the second ranked competitor.”
