It is with a mixture of euphoria and desolation that IJGlobal publishes today our summer issue of the IJGlobal Magazine. The sadness comes from being unable to host our awards nights due to the coronavirus pandemic, but happy arrives in the shape of a bumper digital issue.

The majority of this issue is dedicated to the winners – companies and transactions – of the IJGlobal Awards for transactions that closed in the 2019 calendar year.

Had all gone to plan, IJ would have hosted our famed awards nights in the month of March in London, New York, Singapore and Dubai… but to make up for the lack of razzmatazz and pregnant pauses before announcing the winner, we have a packed mag for your entertainment.

You will notice a considerably scaled up focus on the People Move section where we have devoted 4 pages to what experience tells us is one of the most popular features of the title and when it comes to deal activity weight has been lent to the interesting bits… not that all deals aren’t fascinating to us... (awkward silence)

The front of book is taken over with interviews of key players who this year scooped coveted awards, before launching into the announcements themselves, broken down by region after the global winners:
