Philippines considers repowering Bataan nuclear plant

Energy Secretary Angelo Reyes said the government was "seriously considering" rehabilitating the plant. The project could cost US$800 million, but the re-fired plant would only become operational many years down the line, as a feasibility study would take two years to complete and rehabilitation work would take five years.
