FLEX's chief executive Philip Eystein Fjeld says: 'We have got a pre-treatment plant onboard that conditions the feed gas and brings it down to a specification that allows LNG production. In such a process CO2, H2S, mercury, water and any other contaminants are removed. The FLEX LNG units will also have the ability to handle so-called "rich gas", where heavy hydrocarbons are extracted and used as fuel onboard the LNG Producer.'
