The changing face of Natixis

The past few months have seen significant shifts in the Natixis leadership with three out of the four London and Paris sector heads exiting the French bank.

One year ago Natixis had four sector heads:

  • Ashley Blows – transport and social, London
  • Ian Cogswell – natural resources, London
  • Ranjan Moulik – power and renewables, Paris
  • Jean-Pierre Gérémy – telecoms, Paris

Blows – who has held this role since September 2011 – is the only member of the sector leadership team to still be in place, while Gérémy retired last year.

More recently Moulik – who has a noticeable online presence – exited; while Cogswell departed at the end of last year and has now set up Cogswell Consulting.

Dominique Fraisse remains global head of energy and natural resources, operating out of Paris, and it is understood the European nat res and energy element centred entirely in France. Frank Pluta remains head of the energy group, a role he has held since April (2018).

Olivier Delay – global head of real assets – has relocated back to New York; while Carlos Perelló, Natixis senior country manager for Spain and Portugal, is no longer at the bank.
